A 2-day validation workshop was organized by the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection (MoGCSP) on its Medium-Term Development Plan (MTDP) for the years 2022-2025.
This workshop brought together key stakeholders, including Heads of Directorate, Departments, and Units within the ministry as well as personnel from the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC)
The primary objective of this workshop was to thoroughly review MoGCSP’s MTDP and ensure its validity.
This involved a meticulous examination of the plan, with a particular focus on assessing whether the policy objectives outlined within it align effectively with the broader national development priorities.
This step served as a pivotal moment for fine-tuning and refining the plan to contribute effectively to the overarching national development agenda.
The successful validation of the MTDP paved way for the finalization of the plan, after which it would be submitted to the National Development Planning Commission.
Once approved, MoGCSP’s MTDP for the years 2022-2025 would become a vital roadmap for the ministry, guiding its efforts and initiatives in the years ahead to promote gender equality, support children’s welfare, and enhance social protection in line with the nation’s strategic objectives.
