The Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA) has invited farmers, agribusinesses, agricultural organisations and other stakeholders to register for the 42nd National Farmers’ Day and Food and Agricultural Trade Fair (NAFAGRO 2026).
The major agricultural event is scheduled to take place from November 30 to December 4, 2026, in Sunyani in the Bono Region.
This year’s celebration will be held under the theme, “Our Farmers – Our Food – Our Future,” highlighting the important role farmers play in Ghana’s food security, economic development and agricultural transformation.
The Ministry is calling on a wide range of stakeholders within Ghana’s agricultural sector to participate in the event. These include farmers, farmer associations, agricultural input dealers, machinery and equipment companies, financial institutions, research and scientific organisations, renewable energy companies and innovation institutions.
Other stakeholders invited to register include businesses and institutions operating in information and communication technology (ICT), transportation, the blue economy, development partnerships and government agencies, as well as relevant directorates and organisations supporting Ghana’s agriculture sector.
NAFAGRO is expected to provide an important platform for stakeholders to showcase agricultural products, promote agribusiness opportunities, connect farmers with markets, explore financing opportunities and highlight innovations in food and agricultural production.
The event will also create opportunities for networking and collaboration among farmers, agricultural businesses, investors, financial institutions, technology providers and government agencies.
The Ministry of Food and Agriculture is encouraging all eligible participants to register and take part in the 2026 National Farmers’ Day and Food and Agricultural Trade Fair in Sunyani.
