President John Dramani Mahama will hold a media meeting on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, to discuss his administration’s programs and urgent national concerns, according to the Presidency.

The meeting, which is set for 8:00 p.m. at the Jubilee House, is anticipated to give the President a chance to discuss his “Resetting Ghana” agenda in person and give updates on a number of ongoing government initiatives.

Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Minister for Government Communications and the Spokesperson to the President, said in a statement released on Monday that the event will also provide journalists with a unique chance to ask the President questions on a variety of topics impacting the country.

“The encounter will provide a unique platform for President Mahama to engage the Ghanaian people, through the media, on pressing national issues, his Resetting Ghana Agenda, policies, and ongoing projects,” the statement read.

Additionally, it stated that attendance at the well-known event “will be strictly by accreditation,” advising media outlets to take the necessary steps to ensure their representatives have access.

“The Presidency looks forward to a productive and engaging session with the media,” the statement continued.

It is expected that journalists will seek clarification on government policy in areas like the economy, energy, infrastructure, and social intervention programs during the upcoming meeting, which will be the first significant open forum where the President will accept questions from the press corps since the start of his term.

The event starts promptly at 8:00 p.m., and all authorized journalists are expected to be seated by 7:30 p.m.
