New Zealand’s departing High Commissioner, His Excellency Michael Ian Upton, paid a visit to Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP), Minister of Foreign Affairs, to formally announce the end of his tenure.
The Minister underlined the importance of strengthening trade, agricultural, and educational links between Ghana and New Zealand and praised the High Commissioner for his efforts to further those partnerships.
His Excellency Michael Ian Upton also emphasised New Zealand’s initiatives to reduce maternal mortality.
Both the Minister and the High Commissioner emphasised the need for enhancing the two nations’ collaboration.
