Hon. Armah Kofi Buah, Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, has stressed the importance of investing in Africa’s youth, education and skills development to secure the continent’s future in industry and economic development.
According to the Minister, the decisions African countries make today will have a major impact on whether the next generation remains on the sidelines or becomes equipped with the knowledge, technical skills and strong institutions needed to lead the continent’s industrial transformation.
He emphasized that youth development, human capital investment, education and innovation must remain central to Africa’s long-term economic growth strategy.
Buah noted that empowering young people with relevant skills and opportunities could help create a more competitive workforce and strengthen Africa’s position in the global economy.
