Charles Boakye Nimako has been appointed by Unilever Ghana PLC.

Unilever Ghana PLC has announced the appointment of Charles Boakye Nimako, the current Director of Africa Initiatives for Safe Water Network, a US-based NGO, as its new Board Chairman.

Mr Nimako’s appointment, which also designates him as a non-executive director, took effect on November 1, 2025.

This follows the exit of Mr Edward Effah from the board in October 2025.

A notice also announced the resignation of three other non-executive directors, including Dr Edith Dankwa.
