The National Association of Sachet and Packaged Water Producers (NASPAWAP) has declared that sachet water prices will increase starting on Monday, April 6, 2026.

In a statement released on Thursday, April 2, 2026, NASPAWAP blamed the rise on the worldwide scarcity of polymers and growing expenses brought on by the ongoing crisis in Iran, which has had a major impact on manufacturing.

“The rising costs have made it challenging for manufacturers to maintain current prices,” the group stated.

These are the new suggested prices:

  • Ex-factory: GH¢8 per bag of 30 sachets of 500ml
  • Ex-truck: GH¢10 per bag of 30 sachets of 500ml
  • Maximum retail: GH¢15 per bag of 30 sachets of 500ml

NASPAWAP asked businesses and customers to follow the new prices to guarantee fair trading practices.

“This adjustment is necessary to sustain production and ensure the continuous supply of safe drinking water,” the association added.
