Ahantaman Community Bank PLC with headquarters at Agona Nkwanta in the Western Region, has recorded a solid performance for the 2025 financial year.
The bank recorded a GH¢39.34 million profit before tax, a 91.89% increase compared to the GH¢20.50 million posted in 2024.
Profit after tax also increased by 90.04% from GH¢14.02 million in 2024 to GH¢26.65 million in 2025.
There was a 42.29% increase in deposits from GH¢367.3 million to GH¢522.6 million, with total assets increasing by 45.23% from GH¢430.6 million to GH¢625.3 million.
Net loans and advances saw a significant rise of 51.05% from GH¢235.8 million to GH¢356.2 million.
On the back of the sterling performance, the Bank is paying a dividend of GH¢0.13 for each share of GH¢0.34, a return of 38.2%.
These were disclosed at the 38th AGM of the Bank held on Saturday 11th April 2026.
The AGM was also the last for the CEO of the Bank, Mr. Benjamin Afful-Eshun, who was retiring after serving the Bank for a total of 25 years, with 12 of that in the role of CEO.
