A 28-man team has been selected by Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz for both the international friendly against Wales in Cardiff and the World Cup training camp. Five goalkeepers, nine defenders, seven midfielders, and seven forwards make up the team.

Paul Reverson, a promising player for Ajax Amsterdam, has also been added. After making an impression for Ajax’s youth team in the Netherlands, the 20-year-old has been brought up for additional evaluation with an eye toward the future.
