Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, Minister of Trade, Agriculture, and Industry, emphasised Ghana’s commitment to improving trade relations and encouraging foreign investment during the start of the Ghana-UK Investment Summit yesterday, Monday, June 1, 2026.
Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare emphasised Ghana’s strategic objective for sustainable economic growth and the significance of developing strong partnerships with the United Kingdom in her opening remarks.
“Together, we are creating opportunities that will drive industrial transformation, boost trade, and deliver shared prosperity for our people,” she said.
The summit brought together business executives, investors, and policymakers from the UK and Ghana to explore new opportunities for collaboration in sectors such as manufacturing, technology, and renewable energy, among others.
“The Ghana–UK relations has always been strong, and this summit reaffirms our shared commitment to economic growth and development,” The Hon. Minister stated.
