Ghana has officially launched the 19th edition of eLearning Africa in Accra, which will bring together education leaders, innovators, policymakers, and technology professionals from across the continent.

Africa’s future must be determined by Africans through educational sovereignty, digital innovation, and strategic investments in technology, according to Education Minister Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, who spoke at the inaugural ceremony.

He emphasised Ghana’s advancements in expanding digital learning, including robots, coding, and artificial intelligence into education, and giving instructors and students greater access to digital resources.

Under the topic “Africa’s Time, Africa’s Terms: Learning for Sovereignty, Strength and Solidarity,” participants are supposed to investigate ways to improve skill development, foster African-led innovation in education, and close digital inequalities.

The conference upholds a common vision of an Africa where science, education, and technology propel sustainable development and empower the continent’s youth.
