The Mahama ICT Center in Damongo was commissioned by President John Dramani Mahama, who described it as an addition to the government’s BSTEM initiative.
Speaking at the ceremony, the President stated that after the BSTEM program is implemented in the area, the center would encourage hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, especially in information and communications technology.
He described the facility as a “green lab” that supports sustainable development objectives and expressed joy that it is fully powered by solar energy.
