The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the arrest of two individuals allegedly involved in demanding money from applicants as part of the ongoing GES recruitment exercise.
According to GES Management, the arrests were made in collaboration with security agencies as part of efforts to protect applicants and maintain the integrity of the Ghana Education Service recruitment process.
Two Suspects Arraigned Over GES Recruitment Scam Allegations
GES disclosed that four suspects were identified in connection with the alleged recruitment-related activities.
Two of the suspects were immediately arrested and have subsequently been arraigned before Accra Circuit Court 6 to face due process under Ghanaian law.
The remaining two suspects are reportedly at large, with efforts expected to continue to locate and apprehend them.
