President John Dramani Mahama today joined dignitaries, family members, and party supporters at Asomdwee Park to commemorate the 14th anniversary of the death of former President John Evans Atta Mills.
President Mahama reminded the country that living up to Prof. Mills’ ideals of integrity, humility, tolerance, and devotion to the weak is a more meaningful way to honour him than simply laying a wreath.
He said, “History judges leaders not by the volume of their voices, but by the depth of their convictions.”
In remembrance of his lasting legacy, wreaths were laid on behalf of the Ghanaian government, Parliament, the Mills family, the NDC, and other organisations.
