In order to demand the resignation of the governor and his appointees, the minority caucus in Parliament postponed their planned demonstration to seize the Bank of Ghana’s premises.

The protest will now take place on October 3, 2023, as previously announced. The Minority has delayed their strategy a second time.

The Minority made the decision to reschedule the demonstration, citing worries about public safety, particularly the lack of established safe zones for the event.

In addition, the Minority changed the protest’s itinerary.

These were included in a letter to the Police that was signed by Minority Leader Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson.
