Wendy Shay’s management company, RuffTown Records, has spoken out about the weekend vehicle accident she was involved in.
The ‘Uber Driver’ singer was involved in a collision on Accra’s Kwabenya road on the evening of Saturday, September 8, 2023.
In a news report, UTV showed Wendy’s Jeep Wrangler with the license plate SHAY 21-19 and a damaged front end. A tipper truck hauling sand crashed with her car.
Wendy Shay had been complaining of a severe headache at the time of the event, according to a live account of the occurrence on UTV’s “United Showbiz” by the station’s deputy news editor, Prince Obimpeh, who just happened to be there.
