On Saturday, November 4, 2023, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is prepared to hold a fair and transparent presidential primary.
In order to choose the NPP’s presidential candidate and the party’s future leader for the 2024 elections, more than 200,000 party delegates from all around the nation will be participating in this primary.
The NPP is organizing a meeting on November 4th in the late afternoon at the Accra (Ohene Djan) Sports Stadium, according to National Organiser Henry Nana Boakye. This is in response to the Electoral Commission’s official announcement of the results of the primary election.
He declared that the newly elected Presidential Candidate will be formally unveiled to the public at this ceremony.
Key people like the National Chairman, Mr. Stephen Ayesu Ntim, the General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong, and the entire party leadership will grace the event, he continued.
The candidates for the NPP presidential primary are Kennedy Agyapong, Francis Addia-Nimoh, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, and Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.
To support the recently elected candidate, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will also be there.
