The National Democratic Congress (NDC) national executives have been urged by former president John Dramani Mahama to continue their efforts to win the impending 2024 elections.
Mr. Mahama congratulated the party’s leadership on its first anniversary, praised their dedication to the party’s advancement, and demanded even more work to guarantee the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is defeated in 2024.
On Sunday, December 17, 2023, Mr. Mahama individually thanked them for their dedication in a tweet.
At the 10th National Delegates Congress, which had as its subject “Rallying for Victory 2024,” 63 candidates competed for 11 seats, and the NDC’s new national leaders were chosen on December 17, 2022.
Approximately 8,100 out of 9,500 delegates participated in the congress.
