Director of the Ashanti Regional NSS is suspended “with immediate effect.”

Alex Opoku-Mensah, the National Service Scheme (NSSAshanti )’s Region Director, has been placed on administrative leave.

The suspension comes as a result of an urgent meeting that the Scheme’s management held on November 30.

The management has made the decision to “enable further inquiry into the alleged verbal attack on a nurse on duty at the Manhyia Government Hospital in Kumasi,” according to a statement released by the acting director of corporate affairs, Ambrose Entsiwah Jr.
