Sammi Awuku, a senior campaign assistant for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and 2024 flagbearer, is confident that the party will win the election.
He claims the NPP will defeat the eight with a more effective tactic that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will be ignorant of.
He clarified, saying, “The NPP will win the 2024 elections with strategies that the NDC won’t understand,” when appearing on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen. “The NPP will win, despite all the noise and complaints, and the NDC won’t understand why,” he remarked.
The economic recovery would be included in these strategies, he said, along with the NPP’s message and some evaluations they have implemented. “There is victory ahead looking at what we see and hear on the grounds,” he continued.
“In this election, the NPP is approaching it not as a party in power, but as if we are in opposition. Our victory will be driven by strategic maneuvers that may not be immediately apparent to the NDC,” Mr. Awuku asserted.
The Eastern Region’s Akropong Constituency’s 2024 parliamentary candidate went on to say, “The NPP has developed successful strategies to ensure success, even though they do not intend to manipulate the electoral process.”
He encouraged the campaign team members to fight hard for success by stepping outside of their comfort zones, acknowledging that the forthcoming general election would not be easy for the ruling party and that it is thus necessary to get everyone on board.
According to Mr. Awuku’s analysis of the NPP and NDC’s comparative records, the NDC lags far behind the NPP in a number of areas, including digitization, tourism, healthcare construction, economic indicators, education, and sports infrastructure.
He clarified that the party has made significant developmental project contributions to the people in the Eastern Region and begged party members to support the presidential candidate instead of letting him down and to put in a lot of effort to make him the next President of Ghana.
Using the same platform, he expressed his gratitude to the agents of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for their conduct during the ongoing limited voter registration drive in Akuapim North.
“Let me commend the NDC and NPP for a peaceful registration so far. We have agents from NDC and NPP and I must admit that they are really working in the constituency. The EC officials are also doing a great job”. he said.
Sammy Awuku, the Director-General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), observed that the constituency contains nearly eight senior high schools and that all of the head teachers, school administrators, and political parties are acting with great decorum.
More than 1,000 people have registered so far, he claims, adding that peaceful and orderly voter registration drives are essential to credible elections.
“No one has filed any challenges or violence, unlike in other places. Even if there are issues, we solve them internally. Everything is calm and we have not heard any bad things. As of this morning when I left, we had not recorded any challenges. There are polling agents from NPP and NDC, and so far, so good, there are no problems,” he reiterated
