An injunction against the planned #DumsorMustStop protest, set for Saturday, May 25, 2024, has been filed by the Ghana Police Service.
On Monday, May 20, 2024, an application was filed at the Accra High Court requesting an order prohibiting the protest organizers from carrying out the planned event.
This comes after the Accra Regional Police Command and the organizers of the #DumsorMustStop demonstration, Yvonne Nelson, Selorm Dramani Dzramado, and Henry Osei Akoto, failed to reach an agreement.
