Armed bandits carried out a bold raid on the IBM fuel station at Pakyi NO2, in the Ashanti Region’s Amansie West area, in a startling turn of events.
Witnesses described the terrifying scenes of destruction in the quiet neighborhood as the attackers assaulted the station and left pandemonium in their wake.
Eyewitnesses stated that the armed thieves broke into the IBM petrol station by force, starting a well-planned operation that shocked everyone in the neighborhood.
Residents and staff at the station suffered stress as a result of the blatant attack, which also caused major losses.
After forcing their way into the station’s office, the armed assailants quickly turned off the closed-circuit television (CCTV) system and stole the digital video recorder. The fact that the robbery was targeted showed that it was well-planned and that the establishment’s security protocols were flagrantly disregarded.
Sadly, the group’s aggression did not end with property destruction; they bound the hands of five gasoline attendants and a security guard to keep them in subjection while they carried out their evil plan.
Infomation is that, the robbers took an estimated one million cedis from the struggling station, which made the financial hardships of those affected by the illegal conduct worse.
Director of the IBM petrol station Kwabena Tawiah recounted the horrific experience and bemoaned the fact that these kinds of crimes were always happening. She disclosed that this heinous raid was the station’s fourth attack by armed thieves.
Tawiah expressed displeasure that they felt vulnerable even though they were close to a police station and stressed the urgent need for improved security and aggressive policing efforts in the area to prevent such attacks.
In response to worries expressed by the shocked workers who were taken advantage of, feelings of fear and uncertainty were evident in their statements.
These employees emphasized the risky nature of their everyday operations and the significant influence that criminal activity has on their well-being, pleading with authorities for more police patrols and reinforced security presence in the area.In response to worries expressed by the shocked workers who were taken advantage of, feelings of fear and uncertainty were evident in their statements.
