Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate of the NPP, has received appreciation from Obrempong Hima Dekyi XIV, the paramount chief of the upper Dixcove traditional territory, for spearheading the successful implementation of the party’s hallmark Free Senior High School Policy.
Obrempong claims that he is the most qualified individual to assist Dr. Bawumia in advancing his visionary ideas and selfless leadership because of the fervor with which the policy was carried out.
When the Vice-Presidential Candidate visited him on Wednesday, the day following his unveiling in Kumasi, he made these claims. “We used to get a lot of requests from individuals asking for help for their wards, but now that we have this enormous relief, we are no longer burdened with that.
We firmly endorse you as Ahanta man because I think you have what it takes to stand with Dr. Bawumia,” he remarked.
As he and Dr. Bawumia travel the nation presenting their case to Ghanaians, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh thanked everyone for the cordial welcome and asked for prayers.
