At the 2024 Ghana Teacher Prize ceremonies, Madam Fuseina Fuseini, a teacher at Madina SDA Basic school in the Greater Accra Region, was named Ghana’s Most Outstanding Teacher.
As part of World Teachers Day, the award recognizes educators who have significantly improved the country’s educational system in the course of the year.
This year’s event theme, “Valuing Teacher Voices: Towards a New Social Contract for Education,” emphasizes the important role that educators play in influencing educational practices and policies.
