An investigation into an incident involving the motorcade of National Democratic Congress (NDC) running mate Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang on Friday, November 29, 2024, has been opened by the Ghana Police Service.
The incident took place in the Eastern Region between Akuse and Kpong on the Akosombo-Accra Highway, according to an initial police report.
It has been reported that a dispatch rider from the opposite direction damaged the windscreen of one of the convoy’s cars by throwing an object at it.
Before, during, and after the general elections in 2024, the police have promised the public a comprehensive investigation and reiterated their dedication to guaranteeing everyone’s safety.
