H.E. President John Dramani Mahama appointed an eight-member committee to supervise the National Education Forum’s structure and preparation, which was inaugurated by Education Minister Hon. Haruna Iddrisu.
This conference will offer a venue for important debates and the creation of strategic policies meant to improve Ghana’s educational system.

Professor Goski Alabi, Professor Rosemary Bosu, Dr. Samuel Awuku, and Professor Smile Dzisi are among the members of the group, which is chaired by former University of Cape Coast Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor George K. T. Oduro.
Inusah Shiraz, Stephen Owusu, and Kofi Asare are the other members. Within two weeks, the committee is expected to provide its report and proposal.
Through this program, the Ministry hopes to involve important education stakeholders in the development of policies that will promote long-term enhancements in infrastructure, teacher preparation, and learning outcomes.
In order to keep Ghana’s educational system competitive and in line with international standards, the event will also look at creative ways to address present issues in the field.
