A lecturer and sixteen students have been suspended from the University of Ghana in Legon for a variety of infractions, including drug possession, plagiarism, sexual harassment, document falsification, and inter-hall disputes.
A university employee named Dr. Sampson Obed Appiah has been suspended for two semesters for harassing a member of the campus community sexually.
In addition, he will get training on sexual harassment and misbehavior, counseling, and a public apology.
Both Wahid Mohammed and Boison Norbert were among the 16 suspended pupils who received one-year suspensions for drug possession.
