Mahama Ayariga, the Bawku Central member of parliament, has denounced the violence in Bawku.

He admitted that the peace process moves slowly, but it shouldn’t be a barrier to their enforcing the law on their own.

However, he asked the local populace to continue supporting the peace process headed by Nayiri Naa Bohagu Mahami Sheriga, Zugran Naaba Asigri Abugrago II, and Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The smear effort against him and the political party he represents will not divert Mahama Ayariga, who denounced those who seek to exploit the conflict for political ends.
