The Honourable Haruna Iddrisu, Minister of Education, visited the Koforidua Technical Institute and St. Paul’s Technical Institute in the Eastern Region on Monday, June 30, 2025, as part of a delegation aimed at advancing Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) throughout the nation.
In addition to interacting with staff and students preparing for their final year exams, the visit was intended to see the start of final year exams in TVET colleges.
The importance of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in addressing Ghana’s unemployment issues was underlined by the Minister during his visit.

He urged the applicants to be serious about their training, pointing out that the abilities they are learning are critical for both self-employment and the advancement of the country.
The Commission for TVET’s Director General, Mr. Zakaria Sulemana, has affirmed that scheduled exams will not be impacted by Friday, July 4, 2025, a public holiday.
That day’s exams will proceed according to schedule.
