Before Parliament adjourns sine die, Hon. Mahama Ayariga clarified that the extra sessions are necessary to allow certain legislative instruments to mature.

He announced this on the House floor when he presented the seventh week’s business statement, which ended on Saturday, July 12, 2025.

“Motions may be debated and their consequential Resolutions, if any, taken during the week. In accordance with Standing Order 216(2) and subject to Standing Order 67, the Committee submits to the House, the order in which the business shall be taken,” he stated.
