The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched a Book of Condolence in memory of the government officials and military personnel who perished in the helicopter accident that happened in the Ashanti Region on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.
In honor of the eight people who were on board the Ghana Air Force Z9 helicopter, the Ministry hosted delegates from the following diplomatic missions and international organizations on Sunday, August 10, 2025:

May the souls of Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed (MP), Alhaji Muniru Mohammed, Dr. Samuel Sarpong, Mr. Samuel Aboagye, Squadron Leader Peter Baafemi Anala, Flying Officer Manaen Twum Ampadu, and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah rest in peace.
