John Dramani Mahama, the NDC’s presidential candidate, has promised that his group will deal with the many issues that the average Ghanaian faces.

According to John Mahama, a tour of the nation conducted in advance of the party’s primaries offered him the chance to learn about the struggles Ghanaians face under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration.

When he wins the general elections in 2024, the NDC will be in a position to lessen the load on the populace, Mr. Mahama said at a thanksgiving ceremony at the Ringway Gospel Centre of the Assemblies of God Church.

“We give thanks to God for his traveling mercies and implore him to keep guarding us at all times. In his own time, God, we are confident, will put everything right. This haircut and the IMF wahala would be on our heads if we had won the 2020 elections. I’m grateful to God that I traveled across the nation to see the struggles that our people confront. with doing this, we will be better equipped to handle these difficulties when, with God’s grace, we are once again able to manage the affairs of our nation. Going around has shook the party’s base and prepared it for what we will confront in 2024, according to the NDC flagbearer.

Executives, MPs, and other bigwigs from the NDC were present at the Thanksgiving service.

The former president received 98.9% of the votes in the NDC primaries for the party’s presidential and parliamentary races.

Before Dr. Kwabena Duffuor withdrew a few hours before the primary elections on Saturday, May 13, Kojo Bonsu, a former mayor of Kumasi, and he were allies in the race.

Dr. Duffuor identified issues with the photo book and the voter’s list.

Kojo Bonsu praised Mr. Mahama for easily winning the race for the party’s flagbearership before the Electoral Commission officially declared his victory.
