A delegation from China’s Fujian Jiangxia University has been received by the Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Clement Apaak, on behalf of the Honorable Minister of Education. Iddrisu, Haruna.
Dr. Apaak praised the decision of Fujian Jiangxia University to collaborate with Ghana in the fields of agriculture and education.
Dr. Apaak highlighted Ghana’s democratic stability and said the Ministry is ready to work with the Chinese university on exchange programs and other scholarship opportunities.

Ling Qidan, the delegation’s leader and president of Fujian Jiangxia University, stated that as part of the collaboration, the Chinese university plans to provide scholarships to Ghanaian students as well as faculty and student exchange programs.
The fields of science and technology, engineering, agriculture, finance, economics, public foreign language education, and electronic information are further possible areas of cooperation.
The United States, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Finland are among the countries with which Fujian Jiangxia University currently has partnerships.
