Kwame Baffoe (Abronye DC) has been invited to appear before the National Investigations Bureau (NIB) on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
It is anticipated that the regional chairman of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bono, will address accusations he allegedly made against President John Dramani Mahama.
Abronye DC said President Mahama had withheld GH₵550 million meant for fired appointees at the Golden Jubilee House, the seat of government, according to an NIB communiqué dated February 21.
Therefore, the NIB called Abronye DC to provide proof to support his accusations.
According to reports, Abronye DC made the accusations during an appearance on Movement Television in Accra, where he accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) leadership of corruption in the ongoing revocation of recruiting and appointment procedures.
