On Friday, October 20th 2023, I hosted my youth leaders Duke Aaron Sasu Esq. and Oheneba Akosua Safoah Esq. to celebrate their call to the Ghana Bar.
Duke and Safoah were joined by their colleagues namely Oliver Fobi Esq., George Adusei Sarpong Esq., Fred Kyeremanteng Esq. Edward Mensah Esq., Yaa Frimpongmaa Kobi Esq. and Jason Osei Boamah Esq.
As a Lawyer myself called to the Ghana Bar in 1984 and as Founding Partner of the Ghanaian Law firm, Law Plus, the moment brought back fond memories and reflections of my journey in the legal profession.
To these amazing young leaders, I say congratulations to you and the over one thousand people called to the bar. The record number of Lawyers called to the Ghana Bar is testament of the progress being made in our Legal Education. It is such institutional reform and progress that will bring change, transformation and prosperity to our dear Nation.
Congratulations once again to our gallant new Lawyers. Welcome to the Bar!
