Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam has been named co-chair of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Finance and Economy Committee.
In an attempt to fortify its policy and economic advisory institutions, the party made the news in a press release on Friday, May 8.
Dr. Amin Adam, a former finance minister and member of parliament for Karaga, will co-chair the committee with Dr. Steve Opata.
It is anticipated that the committee will be crucial in determining the party’s course for economic policy and in expressing its stance on national financial and economic issues.
Frank Bannor and Issah Fuseini have been named committee spokespersons, according to the announcement.
They are supposed to help spread the committee’s opinions and discussions on matters pertaining to the nation’s finances and economy.
Dr. Hamida Nuhu was also identified in the announcement as the committee’s secretary.
