Asamoah Gyan, a former Ghanaian football player, has pushed the Black Stars to put in extra effort in order to earn a spot in the World Cup.
He says players should put the status of playing for the national team above what their clubs told them when they arrived for the international break.
Like they did against Chad, Asamoah Gyan wants Ghanaians to see them battle for every ball and make sure they win the game.
“With a little commitment we will get there,” he said, adding that “me and my colleagues, the coach and staff have confidence in you guys if not we won’t be here. The reason that we are here is to push you guys. So tomorrow let’s go for the kill, let’s go for the win and make sure we don’t concede. If we don’t concede it is one, if we win it’s three points”.
