Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has received the Board of Directors, Commissioners and senior management of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
The high-level GRA delegation visited the Asantehene to pay their respects and engage with the revered traditional leader as part of their official activities in the Ashanti Region.
The delegation included Hon. Kweku George Ricketts-Hagan, Madam Faustina Nelson, Hon. Hajia Laadi Ayamba, Hon. Francis Xavier Sosu, Mr. George Ayiretey and other senior officials of the Ghana Revenue Authority.
Leading the delegation was GRA Commissioner-General Mr. Anthony Kwasi Sarpong. He was accompanied by Commissioner for Support Services, Hon. Dr. Alex Adomako; Commissioner for Domestic Tax Revenue Division (DTRD), Dr. Martin Kolbil Yamborigya; and Commissioner of Customs, Aaron Kanor, among other senior management members.
The visit highlights the GRA’s continued engagement with key stakeholders and traditional authorities as the Authority works to strengthen tax administration, domestic revenue mobilisation and Ghana’s economic development.
The Ghana Revenue Authority remains a key institution in the country’s revenue collection efforts, with its activities contributing significantly to government financing and the implementation of national development programmes.
