In her introductory remarks, Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection, emphasised the Board’s vital role in guaranteeing that adoption procedures are conducted in the child’s best interest.

She pointed out that the Board is tasked with regulating and supervising adoption processes, evaluating applications, and guaranteeing that each adopted kid is given a loving, safe, and secure environment.

The Minister administered the Oath of Office and Secrecy to two new members during the meeting, one of them being Dr. Marian Kpakpah, the new Chief Director of MoGCSP, who will serve as the Board Chairperson.
