Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang joined the people of Krachi to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the enstoolment of Krachiwura Nana Mprah Besemuna III, with the theme “25 Years of Transformational Leadership: A Call to Revive Our Heritage and Rebuild Our Alliances.”

The event demonstrated the chieftaincy’s ongoing importance in preserving Ghana’s rich cultural legacy, fostering harmony, and fortifying community cohesion.

The Krachiwura’s unwavering efforts to strengthen the authority of customary institutions and promote unity among traditional leaders serve as evidence of the crucial role chieftaincy plays in the development of a country.

The Vice President reiterated that cooperation between the government and traditional authority is still essential in the face of changing and complicated development issues.

Traditional institutions that are robust and stable continue to offer a strong basis for sustainable, inclusive growth.

The government is unwavering in its resolve to strengthen decentralisation, give district assemblies more authority, and make sure that development has a significant impact on communities all throughout the nation.

The Vice President praised the organisers for a fantastic celebration and thanked the Krachiwura for his excellent leadership.

She went on to say that she hoped his legacy of harmony, peace, and devoted devotion would go on and motivate coming generations.
