Osafohene Dr. Afua Asabea Asare I, CEO of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority, joined the Ghanaian delegation at the Italy-Africa Business to Business Dialogue in Rome.
The event, organized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with Confindustria Assafrica and Mediterranean, and with support from the Italian Trade Agency, highlighted the importance of cooperation between African and Italian private sector associations.
The dialogue aimed to enhance collaboration in energy, digital transition, manufacturing, sustainable mobility, and agri-food.
In his opening remarks, Antonio Tajani, the Vice President of the Council of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, indicated that Africa is a strategic priority for the Italian Government. He further indicated that cooperation with Africa is a goal that the Italian government wanted to include among the priorities for the Italian presidency.
With 15 African countries participating, including Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, and Senegal, the event highlighted Africa as a strategic priority for Italy.
