Claims that Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar, the founder of the New Force Movement, had joined the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been refuted.
The political movement claims that several outlets have brought to their notice the possibility that its founder has joined the NDC.
The New Force Movement strongly declared that Mr. Bediako had no intention of joining the main opposition party in a statement made on Saturday, February 17, 2024, and urged the public to reject such claims.
“It has come to the attention of the New Force Team that certain online news outlets are publishing news items purporting that Nana Kwame Bediako, leader of The New Force has joined or intends to join NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama.”
“The news items make it appear as though Nana Kwame Bediako finds it expedient to join another political party organisation because several efforts and plans of The New Force have so far been frustrated by the current government administration,” the statement said.
It further said that the New Force Movement’s only goal is to realize its vision for the nation.
