On March 11 and 12, 2025, the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has scheduled maintenance projects in a number of areas throughout the nation.

Affected locations will experience brief power interruptions as a result of the operation, which aims to improve service delivery.

Affected areas and timelines

March 11, 2025, Tuesday: There will be power disruptions in the Volta Region from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in the municipality of Tsito and the neighboring villages.

Two significant maintenance tasks are planned for the Ashanti Region: From 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, the following areas will be impacted: Darko, Bebu, Ampabame No.2, Trede, Sabin Akroform, and portions of Pakyi No.2.

Between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm, Atwima Koforidua, Abuakwa, Mankranso, Kunsu, Sepaase, Nkawie, Afari, Abakomade, Kasapreko, Nerebehi, portions of Tanoso, Pokukrom, Seidi, Hiaw Besease, Ntensere, Tabre, Mpasaetia, Asempanaye, and the adjacent areas would be affected by a second round of maintenance.

Wednesday, March 12, 2025: Throughout the Greater Accra Region, Pokuase Pharmacy, Ayawaso, Nii Ayi, Odumase, Amanfrom, Nsakina, Agbogba, Pantang Royal, and surrounding regions will have power outages from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

From 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, maintenance will be done in the Tema Region, which will impact High Tension, Golf City, Community 17, Fafali, Cambodia, HFC Estates, and the neighboring districts.

ECG’s assurance:  In addition to apologizing for the inconvenience, the ECG reassured clients that the maintenance work is necessary to increase service dependability. It is recommended that companies and residents in the impacted areas make appropriate plans.
