The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced emergency maintenance works in parts of the Western Region as part of efforts to improve electricity supply and enhance service delivery to customers.
According to ECG, the scheduled maintenance exercise will result in a temporary power outage in some communities on Thursday, September 17, 2026.
ECG Maintenance Schedule
The emergency maintenance works are scheduled to take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
The affected areas include:
- Atta Ne Atta
- Bungalow
- Ampontenkrom
- Nkwanta No. 2
- Other surrounding communities
ECG has advised customers in the affected communities to take note of the scheduled power interruption and make the necessary arrangements during the maintenance period.
The company said the emergency maintenance is being carried out to help improve electricity service delivery and reliability in the affected areas.
ECG has expressed regret over the inconvenience the temporary power outage may cause and thanked customers for their understanding and cooperation.
