David Adeleke, nicknamed Davido, a Nigerian afrobeats musician, stated on Sunday that he was having a terrible time because it was the first Father’s Day since the death of his first son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

We recall that Ifeanyi perished in the singer’s Banana Island mansion’s swimming pool in October.

Davido shared on his Instagram story on 2023 Father’s Day how his father’s passing had affected him.

In various posts, he wrote:

“Difficult Father’s Day for me… But I thank God for strength.”
