Over the weekend, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia began his campaign for the NPP’s presidential nomination by speaking with party members in the Greater Accra Region.
In order to explain his vision for leading the NPP in the future elections in 2024, the Vice President hopes to forge a direct line of communication with party members.
Dr. Bawumia engaged with representatives in the Tema metropolis seats of Ashaiman, Tema East, Tema Central, and Tema West yesterday, Sunday, June 18, 2023.
The delegates will have the chance to interact with Dr. Bawumia in person and learn about his motivations for running for the NPP leadership position.
He had already spoken with representatives from a number of constituencies, including La Dadekotopon, Ayawaso East, Sege, Kpone Katamanso, Ningo Prampram, and Ada.
Dr. Bawumia has made a key step toward being the NPP’s presidential candidate for the 2024 elections by completing the filing of his candidacy documents on Friday, June 16.
The Vice President’s nomination was greeted with anticipation and joy, with the Vice President’s wife, Samira Bawumia, and important party members in tow.
He urged party members to support his candidacy as a whole and collaborate to win the 2024 Presidential elections.
