Afterwards, he switched from singing to playing the guitar and rose to prominence in the Ghanaian highlife scene. Other highlife performers like Osibisa, E.T. Mensah, and Amakye Dede had an impact on him.

When “Highlife Romance,” Nana Tuffour’s debut album, was released in 1979, it became a huge success. Throughout his career, he continued to release multiple albums, with “Abeiku,” “Owuo sei fie,” and “Asamando” among his most well-known songs.

In addition to his work as a musician, Nana Tuffour also worked as a radio host on Kumasi’s Loving FM. He was well-known for his distinctive voice and guitar playing and was a respected figure in the Ghanaian music scene.
