The Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency Chairman, Bismark Aborbi-Ayitey, has been expelled from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for a period of six months.
According to the Greater Accra NDC, Mr. Aborbi-Ayitey was suspended for violating article 48(8) of the Party’s Constitution as modified at the 9th Congress by speaking to the media about internal party matters.
Theophilus Tetteh Chaie, the Greater Regional Secretary of NDC, wrote in a letter, “Therefore, he has been suspended for six (6) months and referred to the Regional Disciplinary Committee in accordance with article 48(1).”
