In honor of the late renowned actor Mawuli Semevor, who unfortunately died on February 20, 2025, after suffering injuries in a house fire, a book of condolence was established at the National Theatre’s VIP Lounge on February 26, 2025.
Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, opened the Book of Condolence by describing how she was close to the experienced actor even before they worked together at the National Theatre and remained like family after she left to go on.
Her book’s opening served as a memorial to him and a sign of the government’s gratitude for his services to Ghana’s theater and film industries.
The Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts (MoTCCA) directors, the Ag. Chief Director, Mr. Vittus Otto Langmagne, as well as the late veteran actor’s family members and loved ones who came to pay tribute to him, were there.
