Dr. Antwi urged health professionals departing the country to reconsider staying in order to serve Ghanaians with high-quality healthcare, noting that the practice was not assisting the growth of the nation’s health sector.
Speaking at a fundraiser for the building of a community center at Adunku in the Bosomtwi District of the Ashanti region, Dr. Antwi praised Ghanaian healthcare providers as being of the highest caliber and praised their delivery of high-quality medical care.
He also urged medical professionals to remain in the nation to advance healthcare provision.

Because if they all depart, who will look after our parents, grandparents, siblings, and grandparents? Dr. Antwi enquired.
